Cancellation policy

Section 1 - Introduction

This Cancellation Policy sets out the terms under which 1Man1Van (“we”, “us”, “our”) allows customers (“you”, “the Customer”) to cancel or reschedule their bookings for man and van removal services. By making a booking, you agree to this policy.

section 2 - Cancelling Your Booking

You may cancel a booking by contacting us via phone, email, or through our website. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service date and time. Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the deposit paid.

section 3 - Late Cancellations

If you cancel within less than the required notice period, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee up to the full value of the original quotation. This fee covers the cost of reserving our vehicle and staff for your booking.

section 4 - Rescheduling

You may reschedule a booking by contacting us. Rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled move. We will do our best to accommodate your requested date and time, subject to availability.

section 5 - Company-Initiated Cancellations

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen events such as severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff unavailability, or other situations beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and, where appropriate, offer a rescheduled date or a full refund of any deposit paid.

section 6 - Deposit Policy

If a deposit is required to secure your booking, this deposit may be non-refundable in accordance with the notice periods set out above. Any deposits paid will be applied to the final invoice.

section 7 - Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the same payment method used at the time of booking. We aim to process refunds within 24 hours of confirming cancellation.
